Australian Success at World Championships 2025!

The 2025 Ju-Jitsu World Championships featured participation from over 80 nations, showcasing the sport’s global growth and its inclusive vision that welcomes para-athletes, youth and masters competitors alike. In addition to competition, the event will include seminars, cultural exchanges and educational activities aimed at promoting youth development, inclusion and international friendship through the sport of Ju-Jitsu.

After the 2025 Australian Ju-Jitsu National Championships in Brisbane, Australia sent 3 athletes to compete in the 2025 Ju-Jitsu World Championships in Thailand.  

Kyle Elkenhans & Courtney Vedelago competed in the Fighting system and the Duo system, for Team Australia it was the first major big event, they made us so proud by participating.

In the Youth divisions (U16, U18 and U21) we had one competitor from Melbourne, Magno Liam Kurt, who  competed in Jiu-Jitsu (Ne-Waza) U21-56KG.
