Medical Officer: Dr Amy Stoke, Medical Support: Dr Adam Szlezak, Suzanne Foster and Kylie Taylor; Mat Coordination: Chris Bruschi and Photographer: Greg Elkenhans. Special support: Joy Griffiths and Shaynee Taylor.
Roger Quick (Australian Director and WCJJO Vice President) welcomed Mr Michael Hart Member MP for Burleigh (LNP) Shadow Minister for Housing and Public Works, Energy, Innovation and Digital Technology; who gave a warm welcome to overseas, inter-state and Queensland participants. This was followed by a special welcoming presentation of aboriginal cultural dance from the Bungarre family of the Yugumbeh language group of the Bundjalung nation; the taking of the oath on behalf of officials and competitors, and welcome to the championships by WCJJO President Michael McGarry from England.
After completion of all competition on Sunday afternoon, competitors and guests adjourned to the Star Gold Coast for an evening of dining and enjoyment.

Dylan Voncina … GOLD MEDALS in … the Individuals Grappling division; Plus in the Sport Jujitsu Individuals Division; Plus The Sport Jujitsu Country Team Championship; Plus the Demonstration Team
Alex Stadnichenko … SILVER MEDALS in both the Sport Jujitsu Individual Masters Division; and the Sport Jujitsu Individual Division; Plus GOLD in the Demonstration Team
Luke Schmidt … GOLD MEDALS in both the Sport Jujitsu Country Team Championship; and the Demonstration Team.
The gold medal in both the Country Teams Division and the Demonstration Division both went to AUSTRALIA
Lynne Quick took on officiating duties throughout the event, receiving a standing ovation at the post event celebration dinner;
Roger Quick – Australian Director and WCJJO Vice President … throughout the event was either Arbitrating, Refereeing or Judging.
Special awards were issued to both Dylan for Sportsmanship and Alex for the ‘Rocky award’

David Murray… both a SILVER and BRONZE MEDAL in the Sport Jujitsu individual Masters division; Plus a BRONZE MEDAL in the Sport Jujitsu Team; Plus a BRONZE MEDAL in the Country Demonstration … David was also awarded the SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD decided on popular choice of all participants
Martin Wilson … four BRONZE MEDALS – Grappling, Sport Jujitsu, Team divsion, and Country Demonstration
Steffi-Louise Stackpoole … SILVER MEDALS in both the World Team, and the Sport Jujitsu individual division; Plus BRONZE in the Country Demonstration
Additionally in the Country Demonstration – Gordon Griffiths, Lynne Quick and Roger Quick – BRONZE MEDALS
Nicholas Lovison … put up a valiant effort and display of sportsmanship, however was forced to retire after receiving an injury competing in the Grappling division
The gold medal in both the Country Teams Division and the Demonstration Division went to England
Gordon Griffiths … took on the role of Australian Team Captain
Jim and Meladee Stackpoole together with Roger and Lynne Quick all took on officiating duties; and Roger – Australian Director and WCJJO Vice President … was awarded a special award in appreciation for his contributions over the past 3-years to the WCJJO.

Moti Ram … Attained a BRONZE MEDAL in the individuals Grappling Weight Division
Graham White and Conrad van Dort … put up valiant efforts and displays of sportsmanship, however were forced to retire after they both received injuries competing in the Country Teams Division
The gold medal for the Country Teams Division went to the Republic of Ireland, and the gold medal for the Demonstration Division went to England
Vince McCann … took on the role of providing first aid care throughout the event
