The Australian Jujitsu Federation (AJF) is registered as an Incorporated Association with the Department of Fair Trading and is the official Australian body representing jujitsu on each of the following authorities.

The Australian Government through the Australian Sports Commission recognises the Australian Jujitsu Federation to develop jujitsu at all levels in Australia.
