New Doges Ferry Club 1st & 3rd Sat of every month for children 2-3pm, adults 3-4pm by booking. Classes for a wide age range & physical abilities. Unity Aikido runs classes for Children, Juniors, Adults & Senior Adults, fit or unfit.

The Unity Aikido System is based on the syllabus of Founder of the Japan Aikido Assoc. Master Kenji Tomiki; Aikido Kyogi /Sport Aikido.

Unity Aikido is an independent Aikido school with syllabus further developed by Headmaster Hanifa Leoni Macfarlane, with reference to the Japanese Martial Tradition & its parallels in Sufism. The Seven Steps of the Beginners course, the first 7 grades & the 7 Dan grades reflect the 7 virtues of the Bushi or Samurai in physical skills & aspects of character development. These have a parallel in the 7 Stages of the Self in Sufism. The aim of the system is the development of the completely balanced Human Being.
