Koshinryu Jujutsu Australia - the premier jūjutsu organisation in Australia continues the teachings and history of the former Australian Society of Ju-Jitsuans … a history in Australia that dates back to 1906, based on teachings introduced to Australia when Ryugoro Fukushima arrived from Japan. ‘Koshinryu’ means a modernisation of the old way. Our well-developed syllabus includes both classical jūjutsu and modern adaptations of classical jūjutsu. Students of Koshinryu are taught a comprehensive version of the martial art system of jūjutsu, including the use of classical weaponry.
