The Australian Government through the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) recognises the Australian Jujitsu Federation (AJF)
to develop jujitsu at all levels in Australia.
Providing representation throughout Australia since the 1950s the AJF is actually a federation of member schools or organisations that include: jujitsu and related martial arts
Both: traditional styles - koryű and modern styles - gendai
Both: sporting styles and non-sporting styles
This website will provide an overview of the role of the AJF, plus information on the requirements and benefits of membership, together with names and contacts for member schools and all Australian accredited instructors.
If you are a jujitsu or related martial arts instructor (including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, aikido, hapkido, kenpo jujitsu, and many more) within Australia and your school is not a member, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss in more detail the benefits of membership and look forward to hearing from you.
The AJF is also responsible for the administration of the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) for all martial arts represented by the AJF. Jujitsu and related martial arts teachers, students and parents are encouraged to read the enclosed information under NCAS accreditation.
We value your feedback and comments and welcome questions on any facet of our operations, so please feel free to telephone or go to our page: contact details and send us an email. We are also keen to hear from 'National Jujitsu Organizations' in the Oceania and South Pacific Region.
Once again, welcome to our website - President
